Workshops are designed to increase a student's confidence in their ability to succeed in a career in engineering, math or science. Students will participate in hands on workshops provided in both Spanish and English. While the students attend various workshops, the parents attend a Parent's Program. The program will introduce them to the university system and also educate them on the college application and financial aid process. Parents will also learn about the advantages of a college education and how to support their children before and during their attendance in college. By involving parents in the process, Un Sabado seeks to reinforce the educational goals of each student. This program is also available in Spanish and English.
