Volunteer Opportunities

School Ambassador
- Make contact or find contact at their school(s).
- Find schedule of all events we can advertise at (PTA events, Parent's Night). We would like to have a "table" with information, and registration materials.
- Attend a training session for school visits. This session is how to present to students and motivate them to get interested in Engineering/Science and attend Un Sabado.
- Do classroom school visits (this part takes a bit of time, in the past we have dedicated a full day of presentations at each school in their science/math classes).
Student Workshop Presenter
There is one main workshop in the morning for the students and parents.
The student workshop is a hands on Engineering projects. The goal of these workshops are to explain to the students what engineering is.
Engineering Fair
The Engineering Fair includes booths which either local engineering groups or companies display engineering ideas and/or products. The goal of the Engineering Fair is to expose students to the new technology that engineers are working on.
Un Sabado Volunteer
- Registration - Assists with registration the day of the event.
- Event Director - With the large number of students attending this program we will need directors who can help with crowd control and information.
- Program Aide - Program Aide which assists the Engineering during the Engineering Fair and the workshops.
